Dems Race Gets Interesting

If there is one thing that is amazing about this year’s Democratic primary, it is that people are starting to talk about stuff that I actually find interesting…three items from today:

• Brokeback Mountain writer & producer, James Schamus, like everyone else in America, is wondering if Bloomberg is going to run…but he has a fascinating argument about what may propel him to do so:

But the factor that could well win him the presidency is something else: a mobilized pro-Israel leadership of the major Jewish organizations that is distrustful of the Republican field, and positively paranoid about Obama. (source);

• AngrygayblackCanadianman tells us (what some of us already knew) that Gloria Steinem is a racist and a misandrist; and
• Sam Stein (at HuffPost) is writing about the head of the NY chapter of NOW accusing Kennedy of betrayal for supporting Obama (huh?).
