I saw this today on the train and turns out (unbenowst too me) there is a musical based on the movie…Who knew! Boy, New York really is a high-brow town, we even prefer our porn literary.The back of the book says (no shitting):
“The most important theatrical event of the 21st C., Debbie Does Dallas is a modern morality tale told as a comic musical of tragic proportions in the language of the rodeo-porn-football circus.”
Here’s the play’s website from the 2001 or 2002 production (I didn’t realize there have been so many stagings)…how did I miss them?
