When South Park spoofed the Beijing Olympics and American anxiety about China’s political and cultural ascendancy, they included an image of Herzog & de Meuron’s “Bird’s Nest” stadium.
Coincidentally, the South Park clip was titled “Olympic Nightmare,” the episode was “The China Problem.”
