I found this fascinating comment on an article at Teaching Online Journalism on the attention span for online video…it made me wonder if this is true:
Poetry is trying to fit too much information into too small of a space, and prose is trying to fit too little information into too much space.
Essentially, we are witnessing the death of prose and the triumph of poetry.. (source)
