The project is notable for two reasons:
– No TV network has ever allowed its audience, as well as its competition, to reuse any of its footage commercially under the terms of a Creative Commons license; and
– Al Jazeera footage is even more valuable because Israel has been banning foreign media organizations from Gaza. -

This is a curious case of an indie Brooklyn designer seeing something at West Elm and deciding they could improve on it. Ah…the dialectics of design.

I will always heart Pete Yorn, though.
MFTMA is still a great album, even if the two that followed stank up the joint.
Being hot as hell doesn’t hurt either.
