Caught My Eye

Joanne reports from our panel last Saturday. It was fun to take part in this and I want to thank everyone who showed up and organized it (particularly Olympia!).

Down By The Hipster (the blog) finds a map & as Curbed suggests "based on the branding of the Financial District as 'Opportunity' and the Lower East Side as 'Hipsters,' this may go back a few years." How true.

I love that we now have a president that can appear on this list.

Btw, I have a twitterview on Wednesday (9PM) with artist An Xiao.

"However, Obama could jeopardize relations unless he breaks a campaign promise to describe the killings of Armenians by Ottoman Turks as 'genocide.'" I hate that they put quotation marks around the word genocide but at least it's better than the "so-called genocide" that the corporate media used to use as recently as a few years ago…and some still use.
