This is my favorite Luna Park photo for 2009. It’s titled “Rooftop Bear” and looks north on Bedford Avenue with the LIC skyscraper in the background and a massive Gaia bear wheatpaste on the right. It captures the character of Williamsburg from an angle that feels new and surprising.
