A Bushwick Doorway

wilsonav-bushwickjpg.jpgI snapped this on Wilson Avenue, between Willoughby & Starr, on my way to work this morning. The No Trespassing sign, the Caribbean palette, the wood detailing above the door, the variety of gates, and the fusion of materials screamed UNIQUELY BUSHWICK to me.

The entrance/alcove has changed so many times since I’ve moved into the neighborhood and each manifestation has been more unique than the previous.

You mean between Willoughby and Starr? Knick and Wilson run parallel. How long have you lived here again…? Yeesh!
