Ah, the benefits of the iPhone…one of the surprise pleasures of my new phone has been the camera feature, which is a pleasure to use since the viewing screen is so large.
Well, inspired by my new gadget, I’ve set up a Flickr account to post directly to my blog. So, whether I’m on the streets of New York, in Canada or California I will be able to send images out into the world without the stumbling blocks of an internet connect or laptop. Free at last, free at last, great God almighty, I’m free at last!
For the last two days I’ve been posting images via Flickr and while there have been some glitches (which I think I’ve ironed out) I have started to really enjoy this feature.
I’d love feedback in the comments section about my new blog feature, and ideas for the types of images you’d like me to include.
I don’t plan to stop my regular art reviews, notes about happenings about town, Armenian-interest features, restaurant reviews, pop culture tidbits or personal reflections, but rather I’m embracing the expanding playing field that is the blogosphere.
Just in case you missed them, in the last two days I’ve posted the following images:
- Manhattan Sublime: 60th & Madison
- On 26th Street
- A Truism on the Streets of Williamsburg
- On the Upper East Side
- The Brooklyn Wall
- Longchamps in Soho
- The Empire State of Williamsburg
- Entrance in the Alley
- East Village, Tuesday night
Expect some more later today.
