This may have been the third year for the Art Parade, but it has yet to find its groove amidst the tourist strewn streets of posher-than-posh Soho. If Jeffrey Deitch wants this tradition to blossom I think a street fair may work better.

Last summer, I came across a superb artist fair in the courtyard of London’s Victoria & Albert Museum and the esoteric humor (or pomo irony if you prefer) was perfectly suited for the tone and crowd of a public fair.

My personal fave was the porn cut-out…we’ve all heard how the public and the art world likes to fuck artists, well, one artist strikes back! Check out more pics from this year’s Art Parade on my Flickr page.
