Copenhagen’s Housing Experiments at Storefront

The CPH experiments are five ambitious housing projects in the Danish capital, Copenhagen.

Home of LEGO, pre-fab architecture and a rich modernist tradition, Denmark seems to be producing some of the best mass housing projects….it puts New York housing schemes to shame.

The one I snapped gives every pueblo apartment a terrace (a la Moshe Safdie’s Habitat) and another builds all its apartments inside a big wall that circles a huge green space–its pretty radical and original…how many times can you say that nowadays?
