Bridget Riley’s Pace/Wildenstein Show in Chelsea

The works in the Pace’s Chelsea space are better than the more timid works at the midtown branch.

This one was painted directly on the wall and it was graphic, thrilling and strangely soothing.

Unlike the canvases in midtown, these paintings are more precise plays with perception.
