Bushwick’s Art Adoption Agency

This awesome (and light) sculpture by Ben Godward is available for adoption via Bushwick’s Pocket Utopia.

I think it’s incredible and innovative…I haven’t seen anyone use such…such…domesticity to achieve new heights.

I don’t know how successful Pocket Utopia has been at getting the word out in Bushwick, but I wish them luck in their support of a great idea to match up artworks and those who love them…it’s called the Fine Art Adoption Network or FAAN.

You pick an artwork, you apply, you get approved, you take it home, you love it to death…but not so fast, you may not make out like a bandit if the artist becomes famous, since FAAN’s website explains, “…the artist may put conditions on resale of the artwork.” Sounds fair.
