Norse ruins, Hvalsey (Greenland)

I recommend this short photo set by journalist Joshua Kucera from his recent trip to Greenland. It is a remote place I’ve always wanted to visit but may not have much to see if you’re not a nature lover.

I noticed the Danish influence most notably in the Katuaq cultural center in Nuuk—gotta love the Scandinavian modernist curves.

    I thought Greenland had more snow.
