Fashionably Arshile Gorky

August 11, 2008 by hv

From Beirut’s The Daily Star English daily is this article about four up-and-coming Lebanese fashion designers:

The four graduates have taken differing sources of inspiration for their unique designs.

Hajiavedikian has drawn inspiration from his Armenian roots. The main theme of his collection has been drawn from the paintings of…Arshile Gorky, whose painting are featured on Hajiavedikian’s designs.

I don’t know about you but this dress spooks me out…and shouldn’t there be a head scarf component?
