New York Street Flowers

I saw these today at La Plaza Cultural on Avenue C and it reminded me of the metal flowers that framed the rape-awareness art work in East Williamsburg.

There is a certain beauty that comes from flowers made of aluminum and tin. They are dangerously sharp yet come across as delicate and fanciful.
