Paul Insect Riffs Off Allen Jones

October 12, 2008 by hv

British artist Allen Jones in 1969 created some provocative pieces of furniture as part of his super-duper-famous “Hat Stand and Table” series. There’s also a chair that bends over backwards (almost) for your comfort.

I saw some “street” artist named Paul Insect redo that edgy Swinging London icon into something that feels cold and gimmicky.
