After Obama Shepard Fairey Tackles Marriage Equality

Whatever you think about Shepard Fairey’s art you have to applaud the man’s passion.

The man who humanized Obama with his series of posters (most famously the HOPE image) released a new “Defend Equality” image yesterday in support of today’s national anti-Prop 8 protests.

I spotted a few in the crowd in front of New York’s City Hall. The image is reputedly influenced by the art of Aaron Harvey.

You can download a free copy of the image here. I wonder if other street artist will join in, like they did with Obama, and help overturn the powers of evil.
