“Unbounded” showcases recent art acquisitions created over the past 15 years by 40 artists from Africa, America, Asia and Europe.
The Museum’s definition of “contemporary art” is broad and inclusive, encompassing painting, sculpture, ceramics, fashion, jewelry, textiles, photography and new media.
Artists represented include a healthy mix of established and emerging names…including: Sandy Benjamin-Hannibal, Dawoud Bey, Jim Campbell, Chunghie Lee, Willie Cole, Victor Ekpuk, Dahlia Elsayed, Arline Fisch, Samuel Fosso, Hong Zhu An, Pieter Hugo, William Kentridge, Sun Wuk Kim, Lu Jian Xing, Rossinah Maepa, Magdalene Odundo, Kwesi Owusu-Ankomah, Grayson Perry, Martin Puryear, Damien Repucci, Yinka Shonibare MBE, Lorna Simpson, Vivan Sundaram, Bill Viola, and Sue Williamson.

One of my fav activist groups, Code Pink, has started posting news of the Gaza War on their blog. These links to very informative articles is definitely worth a gander…and I love the blog’s tagline: “The political is personal.”
