The Revolution Will Not Be Televised (video)

November 21, 2009 by hv

Listen to the incredible poetic artistry of Gil Scott Heron‘s “The Revolution Will Not Be Televised,” which appeared on his first album Pieces of a Man (1971).

My favorite paragraph is undoubtedly this one:

“The revolution will not be televised, will not be televised,
will not be televised, will not be televised.
The revolution will be no re-run brothers;
The revolution will be live.”
