“You Are Next” on Bedford Ave

I spotted this today after breakfast at one of my favorite neighborhood places, Egg — I shot it with my cameraphone. There’s something about this Abu Ghraib image that will forever be relevant to our visual culture. I am sure it will be re-interpreted for years (decades?) to come. I also think it is extraordinarily well-placed beside the COCO66 event poster — their compositions definitely jive.

I wonder if artists will ever get to reinterpret the pics that have been kept secret from the public so far.
